The softball team improved to 7–0 after a 7–1 victory over Indiana State on Thursday, Feb. 14.

Hilary Mavromat improved to 2–0 with a complete-game win. Mavromat allowed one run, earned, on two hits with four walks and five strikeouts.

The Tigers took the 1–0 lead in the bottom of the third inning, but that lead was quickly erased when Shelby Wilson crushed a leadoff home run off the scoreboard in left-center to even the game at 1–1 in the top of the fourth inning.

Auburn would retake the lead for good in the fifth inning and would go on to the final score of 7–1.

The Tigers will play Tennessee State at 12:30 p.m. and Bryant at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb 15.
